What is VNS CHOICE Medicare?
VNS CHOICE Medicare is a Medicare Advantage Health Plan, developed for individuals who have both Medicare and Medicaid. VNSNY has developed VNS CHOICE Medicare because we recognize that not everyone with Medicare has the same needs.
We offer three Medicare Advantage options. All have NO monthly premium, NO deductibles, and NO co-payments for medical services. One may be right for you! Click on Plan Features to learn more or see below for a brief description.
All VNS CHOICE Medicare plans include many features specifically designed to ensure that people who enroll get the care they need. For example:
- All VNS CHOICE Medicare plans cover all of the services that you receive under Medicare Part A and Part B.
- All VNS CHOICE Medicare plans include Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (Medicare Part D).
- All VNS CHOICE Medicare plans include a broad network of physicians, hospitals, pharmacies, and other health providers, to ensure that you have access to care in your local community.
- All VNS CHOICE Medicare plans have services tailored to meet the needs of people with chronic illness.
- All VNS CHOICE Medicare plans are specially designed to give members easy access to the care they need. In the event a member needs assistance managing his/her health care, our nurses are standing by to help.
- In addition to the original Medicare and great Care Management benefits listed above, each VNS CHOICE Medicare plan offers valuable extra benefits designed to meet your specific needs.
- VNS CHOICE Medicare - Option 1 features $0 Generic Prescriptions and many other great benefits, including the CHOICE Card worth up to $240 a year or $20 each month to buy over-the-counter drugs and health-related items, such as aspirin, cold pills, cough drops and much more. - VNS CHOICE Medicare - Option 2 features the CHOICE Card worth up to $780 a year or $65 each month to buy over-the-counter drugs and health-related items, such as aspirin, cold pills, cough drops and much more. - VNS CHOICE - Managed Long Term Care Plus (MLTC Plus) is a specialized program for nursing home eligible individuals with both Medicare and Medicaid. VNS CHOICE MLTC Plus offers the advantage of full integration of Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) benefits into one comprehensive program.
